So much for worrying about the weather. The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it looks like pretty much a perfect night for rocking out to some 80s classics. Rocktoberfest 2010 is the place to be tonight.
We’re looking forward to a good time tonight. We’ve got polka from Karl and the Country Dutchmen starting at 5, some warm-up rock from Border Patrol at 7 and the headliners, Great White featuring Jani Lane, at 9, ready to help you relive your youth or the youth you wish you’d had. We’ve got two food vendors and a whole lot of beer taps ready to flow. We’ve got two big buildings just waiting for a crowd to fill them.
Money raised at Rocktoberfest goes to support all of the Farmington Rotary’s causes, including STRIVE, a high school mentoring program, scholarships and other projects taking place around town, around the country and around the world. Tickets are still available. It’s $5 for polka and $20 for some rock and roll.
We hope to see you there.
